About us

Hello everyone! My name is Racky Baro, and I am currently a 10th grader, born in Dakar, Senegal and raised in Columbus, OH.

From a young age, I’ve always dreamed of giving back to my community in a meaningful way. My journey hasn’t been easy. When I arrived in the United States, I didn’t know a single word of English. It was one of the hardest challenges I’ve ever faced. But through endless hours at the library, staying after school, and constantly opening books with curiosity, I found strength and motivation.

These moments shaped who I am today and inspired the creation of this program. I believe that every child, no matter their background, deserves access to education, encouragement, and the tools they need to dream bigger.
